Milwaukee Sports and Social & Retro Gaming League 

Milwaukee is home to one of the many Up-Down Bar locations (just like the one SSIA partied at in Kansas City)! This winter, Milwaukee Sports and Social teamed up with Up-Down MKE to host a very unique Retro Gaming League for 6 consecutive weeks.

Each night, players competed in 3 games: 1 Main Event and 2 Side Games. The Main Event game resulted in a champion being crowned that evening. The 2 side games concluded when the top 4 of each game was determined. In Week 6, all players who reached the Top 4 of a given game competed in rapid-fire tournaments. Games included: NBA JAM, Mario Kart N64 on a giant projection screen, Frogger, PacMan, and many more! Plus, players received pizza and beer discounts for wearing their Milwaukee Sports and Social league shirt each week!

The league was so well received (from both Up-Down MKE and the players) Milwaukee Sports and Social partnered for a second iteration of the league during our Late Winter 2024 season! Below you will find photos from our Winter season, and the league structure document shared with all players!
