JAM & RendezViews Volleyball Courts

JAM forged an innovative partnership this year with RendezViews, a buzz worthy outdoor patio restaurant/bar establishment in downtown Toronto. Rob Davies and Noel Hewitt negotiated to allow JAM to install 2 world class beach volleyball courts in the space. Courts were set up in record time. JAM opened up beach volleyball league registrations in June and sold out almost immediately, quickly becoming the second highest revenue generating beach volleyball venue.

This partnership is an innovative one because it allowed JAM to reinvent traditional commercial real estate for recreational sports play in a densely populated area sorely lacking in recreational sports facilities, and created a mutually beneficial partnership for both JAM and Rendezviews. This partner has become a proof of concept that has already lead to exciting new opportunities to get more people playing in non-traditional spaces.
