SportsLink - Dream/bucket list international destination

Earlier this year, we added a benefit for our full time employees. Once they hit five years of service, we send them to their dream/bucket list international destination for a week (tickets for two, plus hotel for a week). The fun part was asking them where they would go on their bucket list before I told them why I was asking. On their list: Maldives, Greece, Japan, Scotland, The Gallapagos Islands. I got the idea from Kristi Herold and her team's focus on making their employee's dreams come true (many years ago, via "The Dream Manager"). I'm excited to say, we just sent our first off to her destination (Maldives) Kristen Wright. Bethany Jahn lucked out and got to go with her as her travel partner. They just got back last night (they looked tired and tan after their long flights). I'm looking forward to sending off our other peeps over the next few years. And hearing about their trips!

LI-Kick - Semi Pro' Tournament Series

Semi Pro' was a brand new concept introduced in 2024 and quickly became a standout feature of LI-Kick. This monthly tournament series emulates the structure of professional sports creating an exciting and competitive atmosphere for players. Players are evenly distributed onto franchises to foster a fair playing field and ensure close competition. Players can only transfer franchises through governed pathways while new incoming players enter via a draft. This design provides a 'big league' feel where the worst franchises have the best chance to improve and every player feels they have a legitimate opportunity to win. Players from a wide geographical location are drawn to this concept because of the structure, competitive parity and connectivity. The Semi Pro format was offered in kickball, dodgeball and pickleball. The 17 Semi Pro Tournaments drew a total of 1,168 tournament player registrations 

Dayton Sportcial - Joseph Swann

Joseph Swann has been an invaluable asset to Dayton Sportcial, stepping up when it mattered most. While his colleagues were juggling work, a newborn, and a nationwide podcast tour, Joe took charge alone and kept everything running seamlessly. His dedication and behind-the-scenes efforts ensured smooth operations, from managing logistics to supporting players. Joe’s hard work and leadership maintained the quality of our leagues and showcased his exceptional ability to handle challenges with grace and efficiency. His contributions have made a lasting impact on our organization.
