Club Sport- Black Light Volleyball
In December 2024 Club Sport ran it's first Black Light Glow Volleyball Tournament with resounding success. Setup involved installing 22 permanent LED black lights on 4 courts, using LED rope lights as lines, and handing out neon shirts, swag, and paint. We had a sold out field of 16 teams brave "Florida Cold" and have a great time! The visuals were awesome and it was fun seeing everyone GLOW! More of these tournaments will be on tap for 2025.

Circle City Athletics - Era's tour with the Era's Bar Crawl
CCA Sport & Social was thrilled to host its very own version of the Era's tour with the Era's Bar Crawl, a fun and exciting event inspired by Taylor Swift’s final U.S. tour stop in Indy. This Taylor Swift-themed crawl featured unique activities at each bar, including friendship bracelet making, karaoke, a dance party, and Taylor Swift trivia, all set to an endless playlist of her hits. The night was filled with incredible outfits, and best-dressed prizes were awarded to some standout looks from the evening. Every "era" was a hit!
The event brought together locals and out-of-town visitors alike for an unforgettable night. With ticket prices soaring for resale, CCA Sport & Social wanted to create an affordable opportunity for those over 21 to enjoy the festivities. Participants traveled from Portland, Oregon, Miami, FL, New York, California, Texas, Canada, and many more places to be part of this special event.
The night was made even more exciting thanks to a partnership with High Noon, who helped sponsor giveaways and provided special offers throughout the evening. CCA Sport & Social was proud to bring together such a passionate fan base of Swifties, both local and from out of town, for a memorable and inclusive experience.

SportsLink - Mix N Match Tournaments
SportsLink's Mix N Match Tournaments have become a very popular event in Charlotte. Essentially, these social sporting events (which we currently host for volleyball, pickleball, and ultimate frisbee) can be used across different sports to promote individuals to stay active and make new friends, while enjoying some friendly competition.
How it works: players sign up individually and get paired with new players throughout the tournament. Players get points based on their team score after each game. Individuals with the highest scores at the end of the tournament get to compete in playoffs for fun prizes!
Why it's popular: players don't need a full roster to compete in these events, AND they do not have to commit to a full season at a time. This has been great for a booming city where new people are moving here every day and looking for ways to make new friends.
Additional perks for our business: rather than just creating events that appeal to our audience and giving new players a social environment to make friends and potentially build teams for other leagues, these events are a great way to utilize wasted field/court space. SportsLink used to lose a lot of money on unused space in-between seasons or during an offseason. However, we've found that we can make money by organizing these events even just a week in advance!

San Antonio Sports & Social - Elementary School Field Day
Many clubs/markets have excellent variations of an adult field day, to recreate what we remember from our school days. While this is also done by San Antonio SSC, they realized this event was no longer happening the same way (or at all) in grade schools. Thus, they created the traditional format, combined with sport specific games, and marketed it to the local schools.
In April, they planned and executed a 12 station field day for 300 kids (Grades K-5) over two days (breaking up by grade level). As a Title I School (one that receives extra funding from the federal government to help students from low-income families) they had not run their own Field Day in 10 years, due to lack of resources. Since the school had very little grass of their own, the school arranged to bus kids to a local high school, to allow the event to happen. It received so much praise from school administration, that San Antonio SSC was nominated for, and then won, the award for Northside ISD (Independent School District) Partner of the Year.
