For the past 32 years the New York Lawyers and Corporate Athletic Leagues have serviced the athletic needs of professionals in New York City. The leagues have grown into one of the most well-known and cherished institutions in the in the legal and professional community. Virtually every major law firm, bank, media and financial institution participates and with over 35,000 Alumni, there are many wonderful collective memories. Trophies, pictures and plaques, attesting to the victories of seasons past, adorn many an office, conference and waiting rooms. The New York Corporate Athletic League was founded in 1988, originally as a League for the clients of the Law firms. It has grown rapidly in recent years and has assumed an independent identity.
